OCR GCSE Latin Component 01: Language

Component 01 is a compulsory component. It is worth 100 marks, representing 50% of the total marks for the GCSE (9–1).
Component 1 is made up of two parts, section A, which accounts for 30 marks (15% of the GCSE total) and Section B, which accounts for 70 marks (35% of the GCSE total):

In Section A, the unseen passage will recount a story drawn from mythology or Roman domestic life.

Defined vocabulary, and prescribed accidence and syntax are required for Component 01, Language with the exception for the translation of the English sentences into Latin.
